Sam Vest earned their Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in May 2019 and went on to complete their Master of Science in Dental Hygiene with a focus in Education at the same institution. Their graduate research focused on the knowledge of dental hygiene and dental assisting students regarding the use of dental radiography in the identification of human remains during mass fatality incidents. Sam is passionate about advancing dental hygiene education and expanding the role of oral health professionals in forensic and emergency response efforts.
