Meet Our Speaker: Loren Jaffe, RDH, OMT 

Loren Jaffe is a Richmond native with over two decades of experience in the dental field. She began her career as a Dental Lab Technician in 2002 before earning her degree, subsequently practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 10 years. Today, she practices as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. Her professional dedication to this field is deeply personal. Witnessing the developmental importance of proper oral function in her own young children solidified her commitment to educating fellow practitioners on why myofunctional therapy is a vital, yet often overlooked, component of comprehensive dental care. Early identification of oral dysfunction and subsequent referral for appropriate therapy can profoundly improve a patient’s long-term health and quality of life.

She is currently attending the Myo Masterminds Intensive course to enhance her skills, better serve her clients, and advance her career. She is deeply focused on expanding her knowledge and spends most of her time studying myofunctional therapy and airway dentistry, as well as listening to myo-focused podcasts. When she’s not studying, she enjoys spending quality time with family.
