VDHA House of Delegates

This page refers to the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association (VDHA) House of Delegates, not the ADHA House of Delegates held each summer.

The VDHA House of Delegates typically takes place in conjunction with our annual Leadership Development Workshop in early autumn. This important event is where your district delegation 
represents your voice in matters of state-level policy, governance, and the election of VDHA leadership.

It's a vital time for member input and engagement, as decisions made here directly shape the future direction of our association and the dental hygiene profession across Virginia.

VDHA Scientific Session & Continuing Education

The VDHA Scientific Session is our premier annual event, featuring high-quality speakers, engaging presentations, and the opportunity to earn continuing education (CE) credits. This event brings dental hygienists together from across the state for professional development, networking, and the latest insights in clinical practice, public health, and policy.

In addition to our annual session, VDHA also offers high-quality CE opportunities throughout the year, both through our state components and convenient online offerings designed to meet your educational and licensure needs.

VDHA Leadership Development Workshop

Held each year in early autumn, our Leadership Development Workshop is designed for both current and emerging leaders
